holidays started 3 days ago, still i have a bunch of stuff to do for college, and am really proud of what i've done. one of the "small" projects of this year was designing 10 shirts with all the basic elements, but designed the way we wanted to - and make one.
i decided to make this one: it's quite simple, with slightly puffed sleeves, triangle-shaped yoke and princess seams to eliminate the darts (hate darts, love cuts, forever). the tall collar ends before the double button stand, and i'm quite pleased about the way it came out. obviously i'm not the best seamstress ever, but i guess it's ok.

obviously it's difficult to see the cuts here, but they make it fit so nicely. can't wait to learn how to scale patterns properly and make it in all sizes. ah, the fabric is pure cotton in a navy colour with tiny white dasies.
i was glad everyone said it was really me. wish it was my size :( guess it's quite easy to notice where my insipiration came from as well.
